Elisa Greycastle- - - - - Name: Elisa Belle Greycastle Nicknames: Ellie Age: Twenty Gender: Female Orientation: Heterosexual Occupation: owner of Greycastle Patisserie; patissier Play by: Adelaide Kane
- - - - -
Appearance: Elisa is slender in stature and stands at about 163cm (5'4"). She has smooth, mousy brown hair that reaches about halfway down her back when down, but she usually wears it up in a bun or a plait due to the nature of her work. Elisa has round eyes that are a light brown in colour, almost appearing hazel in certain lightings. Her skin is pale in contrast to the darkness of her hair.
For the most part, Elisa wears comfortable clothes when going out or even hanging around the house. This usually consists of jeans and a jumper, though she sometimes wears dresses or skirts as well. When she's working in the kitchen, she wears an apron and her patissier's jacket, and if she is working in the front of the shop, she tends to dress in a more pastel and cute style to match the shop's theme. Clique: art kid Likes: baking, spending time with her sister, the patisserie, cute things Dislikes: competitions, conflict, negativity, giving up
Personality: Elisa is a very sincere individual. She's hardworking and loves what she does for a living, and counts herself as very lucky to be able to have a career that she loves and is passionate about. Elisa doesn't give up easily in the face of adversity and will keep trying no matter how many odds are stacked against her. She's very family oriented and friendly and loves to spend time with her sister. She treats everyone like family and tends to be a little bit too open and trusting for her own good. Elisa is the type of person who would think the best of someone right off the bat until they gave her a reason not to trust them, and even then it would be relatively easy to earn her trust back.
Ellie is the type of person to put others before herself. Even though she isn't a vegetarian, she still cooks vegetarian foods for her sister and rarely eats meat in order to respsect Talia, so she might as well be one. Elisa is attached at the hip to her younger sister, not only because they have always been close, but also because she is the only immediate family she has left, as her surviving family, her maternal grandparents, live far away in France.

Family: Mother: Belle Greycastle (nee Delaunay), patissier, former co-owner of Greycastle Patisserie, deceased at 40 Father: Aaron Greycastle, patissier, former co-owner of Greycastle Patisserie, deceased at 40 Sister: Talia Greycastle, patissier, current co-owner of Greycastle Patisserie, 18
History: Elisa was born in the first week of March, where spring was beginning to show itself in spite of the snowy, chilly morning. She was the first of two daughters, followed two years later by her sister Talia. Elisa and Talia grew up very close, as their family was always very close-knit and loving toward one another. For as long as Ellie can remember she worked hard under her parents' instruction to become a patissier just like them. Her maternal grandparents were also patissiers, living in Marseilles, France, where her mother is from. In fact, Belle met Aaron in Paris when they both attended the same patisserie school. Even when the couple moved to America to start their own patisserie and their family, they raised their children in a bilingual household. Elisa grew up speaking mostly in French to her mother and in English to her father, and was trained well by her parents in the French art of pastry and cake making.
Elisa was a kindhearted girl while growing up and kept that trait even now. She spent more time with her sister than anyone else, but did make a few close friends in school regardless. Most of her time outside of school was spent back at home in the patisserie, either helping to make pastries and cakes or to work at the front of the shop, waiting tables or taking orders at the register. Always cheerful, Elisa enjoyed any type of work within her parents' prized shop.
Unfortunately, things did not always go so well. About a year ago, on their way back from a pastry show in New York, Belle and Aaron Greycastle got into a car accident and passed away. This was an incredibly difficult time for their daughters, who have only just begun to truly recover from the loss of both their parents. They have no family left that is nearby as their paternal grandparents passed away years ago and their maternal grandparents are still living in Marseilles. These grandparents, Belle's mother and father, implored Elisa to leave her parents' patisserie behind and to move with Talia back to Marseilles with them so that they could support them, but Elisa refused. She loves her grandparents but she also loves the patisserie and refuses to see it fail.
Elisa is devoted to her sister and to the patisserie and wants to continue to let it live on in their parents' memory. She wants to make them proud, but she is struggling financially. Her parents' savings were enough to pay the rent for the first year, but now Elisa has to worry about that cost along with all the others - living, materials for baking, etc., and has been having a rough time of it. Without her parents, the shop is understaffed, but because of being understaffed, they are not able to make as many products, so they can't afford to hire out any more staff. It's troublesome, but as usual, Elisa puts on a bright and optimistic front and tries her best to find a solution.
