'BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!'
Talia groaned to herself as she heard the oh so familiar sound of her alarm clock signaling the start of another day. Sitting up in her bed, with her eyes closed, she managed to grab her alarm clock and shut off the alarm. She was use to it by now. Getting up and out of her bed, she rubbed her eyes as she made her way to her closet. Today she would be helping her sister out in the store. Grabbing a cute pink top and a white skirt, she changed and made her way downstairs to the shop.
Putting her apron on and pulling her hair into a ponytail, Talia frowned to herself. She was the only person in the store so far, which meant her sister was either still sleeping or on her way down. She hoped it was the latter. Grabbing her apron, she slipped it on her slim frame and tied the back the best that she could. Ever since she was little, she always had trouble tying the back of her apron and would always ask her sister to help her.
Brushing a few loose strands out of her face, Talia looked around the room. She decided that her first task was putting the chairs off of the tables & back onto the floors. Once that was done, she grabbed herself a broom and began on making the store look pretty. She was going to wait to actually bake anything until her sister showed up. Or possibly after sweeping, depending on whichever took longer.

Elisa was exhausted, so in spite of the fact that she was usually a pretty early riser, this morning getting up to the sound of her alarm was a little bit more difficult than usual. She always set it to play music so that she'd be energised, but it didn't seem to be doing the trick this morning. Then again, she'd only slept about three hours as she'd stayed up most of the night finishing a macaron order, so that could definitely be a contributing factor to the exhaustion that was setting in. Oh well, a shower would perk her up.
Ellie had decently long hair, so it took a while to get it washed and ready, but she did her best to hurry. She knew she'd set her alarm before her sister's, but not that much before, so it was still likely that Talia would get downstairs and start preparing before she was able to. She just didn't want to abandon her sister for too long. After a quick shower, Ellie was already feeling more awake, so she was happy for that. The rest of the process of getting ready didn't take too long since she always picked out her clothes and accessories and such the night before to save time in the morning.
Once dressed, Elisa brushed out her drying hair and put it into a French plait, did some very light make-up, and then headed downstairs where she saw Talia sweeping the front room. "Morning Tally," she greeted cheerfully. Going into the back room briefly, Elisa opened up one of their storage refrigerators and checked on the macarons. They looked just as good as they had about four hours ago when she finished them, which was good. She went back out to the front room and grabbed two of their pastel packing boxes with the little handles that they always put their customers' purchases and orders in (there were many different sizes, of course, but Ellie grabbed two of the bigger ones due to the size of the order). "I finished the macaron order this morning. I'm going to go ahead and pack them up now, they're getting picked up in an hour or so." she called to Talia in explanation as she headed back into the back room.

Hearing the nickname that she only allowed her older sister to call her, Talia stopped sweeping the floor. Her sister was the only person to ever call her 'Tally', if anybody else did, it just sounded too weird. Folding her arms across her chest, she was still able to hold onto the broom carefully. "It's about time that you woke up" she teased her older sister, smiling.
Going back to sweeping the room, it only took her about fifteen minutes. Once she was done with that, Talia flipped the store's sign from 'closed' to 'open'. Now they were ready to start the business day. Brushing some loose strands of hair out of her face, Talia turned when she heard her older sister speak. "Oh? How did they turn out? And if there are any extras we can sell them! Or we can eat them ourselves" she smiled happily, hoping to convince her sister that they could eat the rest of the macaroons.
"Well since you have that taken care of, what do you want me to start on first? I was thinking of making some cupcakes. Some vanilla ones with strawberry icing. Or chocolate with pink vanilla icing & sprinkles." she informed Elisa. She loved hearing her sister's advice, knowing what she needed to improve on. Talia always felt like cupcakes were her forte. Everybody seemed to enjoy them. Or they just never complained about them to her face.

Elisa merely smirked at her sister, rolling her eyes slightly at her words. "If you were up most of the night you would have slept in too!" she chided as she packed away the macaron orders into their appropriate boxes. She laughed slightly at Talia's request, shaking her head in amusement though her sister could not see her. "Oui, lapinette," she said teasingly, using her usual French term of endearment to her sister, "I saved a few just for you."
Once Elisa had finished, she tied polka-dot bows onto the boxes to complete the look and set them carefully back into the refrigerator until the customers would come to pick them up. She wiped her hands briefly on her apron before heading back out to see her sister, who had finished sweeping and had turned the sign to show that their shop was open. She pondered for a moment at Talia's next question before answering it.
"Hmm, maybe something seasonal? It's just turned to a beautiful autumn outside. How about trying something with pumpkin flavour?" It was always fun to make seasonal cupcakes and to have the chance to be creative with themes. Talia loved making cupcakes in particular, so Elisa usually left it with her, knowing how much her sister enjoyed it.

Talia rolled her eyes in a playful manner at her older sister. "Elisa, you should get sleep. Sleep is good for you!" she exclaimed at her sister. To hear that her only family member was not taking good care of herself, she began to become concerned about her. Hopefully it was only a one time thing.
Hearing Elisa suggest something seasonal, Talia nodded her head in agreement. That sounded like a perfect plan. With autumn just around the corner, people would be lining up for anything pumpkin flavored. Last year there was a great demand for pumpkin cupcakes and other goodies, so she was sure to expect the same for this year.
"Sounds good to me! Maybe we can make apple pies as well?" she said happily to Elisa. Talia did not hate pumpkin, she just got tired of it very fast. Brushing some of her hair out of her eyes, she looked over at her older sister. "But you might have to add any cinnamon for what I make." she added, as she was allergic to the spice.

welcome
Bullworth Academy is a high school set up in rural New Hampshire. Like any other high school, Bullworth is full of cliques. You've got the jocks and the preppies, the bullies and the nerds, the art kids and the greasers, and of course there are the non-cliques, those who just don't seem to fit under any one stereotype. There are the locals, who have finally made their way out of the clique-driven world that is high school, and then there are the teachers and faculty, who made their way out only to fall right back in. In a world driven by cliques and stereotypes, where will you find your place?
