Once classes were finally over, Grace practically sprinted out of the classroom and all the back to her dorm room. Grace loved Fridays. Why? Well for one, she did not have to worry about classes the next day. And two, almost every Friday was when her and Mary would sit down in their dorm and have a movie night.
Once she entered her dorm room, Grace dropped her backpack by her bed and quickly changed out of her school uniform and into some comfy clothes. Right next to Mary's bed was a small bookcase that held both books and their movies. Tonight Grace had decided the theme of the movie night would be Disney.
The movies weren't the classic Disney movies. Sure they had those, but Grace didn't pick them. What she did grab was some of the newer ones like Maleficent, Into The Woods, etc etc. She had mainly grabbed the live actions to see how the characters matched to their cartoon counterpart, if they had one.
Putting her hair into a loose ponytail, Grace sat down on her bed. What was taking Mary so long? She was never this late! Or maybe Grace had gotten here too early. Grabbing her phone, she quickly began to text her friend; Where are you?! You can't miss movie night!!

Though Mary enjoyed classes for the most part, like anyone else, she looked forward to Fridays. Everyone liked the weekend for different, albeit likely similar, reasons. Mary's was the prospect of seeing her parents, and of course of her movie night with her roommate and best friend, Grace. They had held this tradition for quite a while now and though they did skip a Friday every once in a while due to other plans or whatever else, it was something that Mary could count on and look forward to more often than not.
She left it up to Grace to choose most of the time as she was quite happy with the majority of options. Mary was not a picky person in that sense or in any other, really. She was quite easygoing, so usually she left general decision-making to her best friend.
Of course, Mary was excited for movie night, but she also had the habit of getting easily distracted and wandering around and taking her time before returning to her room. It wasn't like she'd forgotten, it was just that she would often get caught up in her own thoughts and not realise how long she was taking. A buzz from her phone (which was still on silent due to classes all day) jarred her from her musings, and she looked to see what it was. Oh, was she taking too long? She smiled sheepishly at her phone as if Grace were there to see it.
Sorry, I'm on my way! was Mary's reply, and as soon as she'd finished typing it her phone went back into her bag and she picked up her pace a little bit. As she headed past the auto shop her heart skipped a beat, which she quickly stamped away. What on Earth was wrong with her? It wasn't like Leo was going to run out with an axe and attack her, and she'd already seen how kind he really was. Mary shook her head and continued on her way until she reached her dorm room. She entered hurriedly, waving at Grace before heading over to pick out some pyjamas and prepare for the movie night.
"Hey, sorry I took so long. I always get so distracted when I'm walking."

"Ugh finally!" Grace said jokingly to her friend. She knew that Mary did not mean to take long arriving back to their dorm room. It had even happened to Grace before, getting distracted while walking to some place. Some times you just couldn't help it. Brushing some of her hair out of her face, Grace smiled at Mary.
"Okay!" she said happily before getting out of her bed. Grabbing the movies, Mary held them out for Mary to pick the first one. Why was she having her friend pick the first one? Well simply because she was not entirely sure which movie she wanted to see first. "Alright Mary, you get to pick the first movie!" she happily announced to her friend. "We have a Disney theme this time!" she added.
Grace sat down next to her friend Mary, waiting for her to pick out the movie. "So how was your day today?" she asked.

Grace would joke about Mary taking too long, but Mary knew that her friend wasn't really upset with her. They were close and trusted each other, so no degree of Mary's social anxieties would disturb that, luckily. She smiled and laughed slightly at her friend's feigned exasperation, glancing over at the movies being offered and taking note of the theme. "Ooh, can we watch Tangled? It's one of my favourites." she said cheerily, looking fondly at the film.
With that decided, Mary left Grace to sort out getting the film started as she stepped briefly into the bathroom in order to change her clothes. She pulled her long blonde hair into two loose plaits before exiting the bathroom once more, putting on the little electric kettle that the girls kept on a table in the room and looking in their tea basket next to it. "What kind do you want?" she asked, already setting the tea mugs out as per the girls' usual routine. Then, in response to her friend's question, she added, "It was fine, how was yours? Did I tell you I got my bike fixed the other day?"

welcome
Bullworth Academy is a high school set up in rural New Hampshire. Like any other high school, Bullworth is full of cliques. You've got the jocks and the preppies, the bullies and the nerds, the art kids and the greasers, and of course there are the non-cliques, those who just don't seem to fit under any one stereotype. There are the locals, who have finally made their way out of the clique-driven world that is high school, and then there are the teachers and faculty, who made their way out only to fall right back in. In a world driven by cliques and stereotypes, where will you find your place?
